Pak VS NZ final T20I match will be played today (monday) at Pindi stadium. Pakistan is leading the series by 2-1 which makes today’s match a must win for New Zealand. All fingers crossed on both sides of the countries!
Pakistan has shown top form in the current T20I series against New Zealand with some surprising performances from different players especially Iftikhar Ahmed. Paki team were victorious in the first two matches by convincing margins of 88 and 38 runs, respectively.
Moreover, New Zealand managed to secure a 4-run victory in return for the third match in Lahore. Later, the fourth match’s washout prevented Pakistan from sealing the series giving the Kiwis another chance to level it up.
As the final match is set to take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium today, New Zealand faces a must-win game. Pakistan, however, has been in impressive form throughout the series.
Pakistan team led by captain Babar Azam and a strong bowling attack featuring Imad Wasim, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf. In the fourth match, Imad Wasim’s three quick wickets proved crucial. On the other hand Chad Bowes and Mark Chapman led a rescue mission for New Zealand. The two players took their team to 164-5 in 18.5 overs before rain stopped play.
Both teams will undoubtedly bring their best efforts to the field for the final T20I. Pakistan is aiming to end the series on a high note but New Zealand hoping to level it and restore their pride. Fans can expect an exciting and thrilling match between two of the world’s best T20 teams.
