SRH were given a cracking start by the new opening pair of David Warner (66) and Wriddhiman Saha (87). They put on 77 in the first 6 overs, the highest Powerplay score of the season so far. Manish Pandey (44*) took over the boundary-hitting onus after both of them fell as SRH powered on to 219/2 in 20 overs. Delhi’s chase got off to a stuttering start — with a wicket in the first over — but the telling blow was delivered by Rashid Khan (3/7), who bowled the most economical spell of the season to rout the DC middle order. DC were bowled out for 131 in 19 overs to suffer their biggest loss of the season.
